Bangalore, 11th December 2011: Cinemax, one of India’s leading multiplex chains, today hosted the star visit of the upcoming romantic comedy “Pappu Can’t Dance Saala” starring Neha Dhupia, Vinay Pathak, Rajat Kapoor and Sai Gundewar. The laughter riot which is written, directed and co-produced by Saurabh Shukla is slated for a Pan India release on 23rd December 2011.
The film “Pappu Can’t Dance Saala” revolves around the plot of an orthodox boy from the Holy city of Banaras who is forced to live with a chorus dancer in Mumbai. The story that follows, highlights the culture clash between traditional-orthodox-India and modern-urban-India. The film shows the journey of these two opposite personalities and how, after the initial phase of rejection, they manage to find place in each other’s lives.
The star visit held at the newly launched six screen multiplex located at Soul Space Arena, Total Mall, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore was graced with the presence of the movie stars Neha Dhupia and Vinay Pathak. Accompanying his star cast was writer-director Saurabh Shukla who looked very confident about his movie. The lighting of Samai was done by Girish Wankhede from Cinemax, Neha Dhupia, Saurabh Shukla, Vinay Pathak and D.K.Sharma from Soul Space Arena. The multiplex was buzzing with enthusiasm as the stars mingled with their fans, gave out autographs, interacted with the media and plunged into the luxurious, vibrant and extravagant hospitality of the Cinemax team.
