He hails from Jharkhand, lived throughout India, settled in Manhattan & we are going to see him in one of the anticipated Hollywood movie; Prashant Rai’s preparation & his first Hollywood take!
He hoped to bag a small role in a Bollywood movie, auditioned for big banners like Yashraj & Dharma Productions, but little did he know destiny had some other plans & he landed in Hollywood!
More than perseverance & utmost dedication, Prashantliterally earned his ticket to Hollywood with the right moves, doing all that he needs to be there, he mentions about his journey, “I moved to Manhattan in 2011. I trained in the best acting institute; Stella Adler Studio in NY & being trained personally by Rosalyn Coleman Williams, Broadway fame who are the best in business in Hollywood & back there in the States, the one you have been trained with matters a lot, which helped me get my work easily through mere auditions.”
He further adds, “Being in Hollywood implies keeping in mind the intricacies, the intense training it requires, I am trained by Fay Simpson in Physical acting & Voice & Speech training from Reginald. These little but significant lessons not only helped me get work in Hollywood but I’m sure in Bollywood too it is going to help fetch me decent work.”
Talking about Bollywood, Prashant Rai mentions, “Bollywood is always where my heart lies, I admire Aamir Khan & PC for their acting skills.”
