stating ‘Ormax Cinematix Movie of the Week for April 15-19 is Yeh Jawaani Hai
Deewani. Record-breaking Wk -6 performance for the campaign.’
Apart from receiving great reviews for trailer and songs,
what helped Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in gaining
advantage over the others was its unique marketing strategy. The trailer was
launched with big bang and within a span of few days the trailer has already
received 3,192,783 views and is still going strong. The film is constantly
engaging with fans through innovative and cool ideas which can be seen all over
the internet. The official Facebook page has an interesting application called ‘My
Badtameez Dil Wants’, based on the superhit song. Some clutter-breaking things
were spotted on Pinterest as well. Overall, pretty interesting.
According to Ormax Media ‘Yeh Jawaani
Hai Deewani’ has left behind other hit movies like Ek Tha Tiger of the year.
Numbers are pretty high, but what would be interesting to see is if these
numbers can be converted into box office success. As of now it looks like a
success at the box office.
