As Shootout at Wadala steadily makes its way to the top-ranking films, Tusshar Kapoor who has always managed to hold his own in an ensemble starcast film couldn’t be happier.
Says Tusshar, “I give my heart and soul to my character. I believe that’s why directors make my roles more significant in context of the storyline. I’m content with the way people are reacting to my performance”.
Talking about why he chose to essay the character of Sheikh Munir adds Tusshar, “What I wanted to achieve with the character — a gangster with a good heart — I have. I wasn’t anticipating this feedback, but I admit that I wanted it. If I had a choice to pick a character I’d like to play in SAW, I’d choose Munir because I’m confident of the part”.
Always looking to strike a balance between his projects be it a comedy,an action entertainer or a drama, versatility has always been the key with Tusshar - “I’m not restricting myself to any particular genre. I like to strike a balance. My next film is Bajate Raho, an offbeat comedy; something I haven’t attempted before.” says the actor.
