Best of both worlds, Gujarati married to a Parsi; Designer Amy Billimoria expresses her wishes this Navroze!

A Decade old in the Fashion Industry, a designer currently on a roll, Amy Billimoria expresses her wishes this Navroze & talks about living the dual life & being a non Parsi & balancing her life.

We know her for her immensely unconventional wearable styling, we don’t know how she’s been living & getting the best of both worlds; Designer Amy Billimoria talks about celebrating Navroze being a non- Parsi.

Happily married to Farzad Billimoria, Billimoria mentions, “Navroze Celebrations are always a day we as a family look forward to! Especially for my daughter Aariyanne as children from mixed culture parents are exposed to our varied rituals and customs and I especially feel it very important that my child should be well acquainted with both our religions.”

Amy further adds talking about her plan for the New Year, “The festivities begin well in advance and last over almost three days... The morning begins with Prayers at the Fire Temple, meeting with the grandparents and feasting on a gala Parsi Cuisine Spread! Although being a non Parsi I love their religious teachings of Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds... And we as a family reinstate this into our lives always!”

Amy Billimoria concludes, “Pateti and Navroze Mubarak to everybody.”
